Samsung Galaxy A55 vs Galaxy A35
Short answer: the Galaxy A35 is the better value for most buyers, because it shares the A55's 6.6 inch 120Hz AMOLED screen, 50MP OIS main camera, 5000 mAh battery, IP67 rating and long update policy. The Galaxy A55 is worth the extra money if you want a metal frame, the faster Exynos 1480 chip, a sharper 32MP selfie camera and a better ultra-wide lens.

Design and build
Both have a glass back with Gorilla Glass Victus+ and IP67 dust and water resistance, and they look almost identical from the back. The difference is the frame: the A55 has an aluminium frame, while the A35 uses a plastic frame. The A55 feels more premium in the hand.
The A55 weighs about 213 g and the A35 about 209 g. Both have the raised Key Island area around the side buttons.
Both come in bright colour options such as navy, ice blue and lilac, and both have flat screens that make screen protectors easy to fit. Stereo speakers are included on both, which helps when watching videos without earphones.
Display
Both use a 6.6 inch Super AMOLED screen at FHD+ (1080 x 2340) with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1000 nits in high brightness mode. Colours, sharpness and outdoor visibility are practically the same. This is one area where the A35 gives you the full A55 experience.
Performance and chipset
The A55 uses the Exynos 1480 (4 nm) with an AMD-based Xclipse 530 GPU, and the A35 uses the Exynos 1380 (5 nm) with a Mali-G68 GPU. The A55 is faster, especially in games, and comes in 8GB or 12GB RAM versions. The A35 comes in 6GB or 8GB.
For social media, YouTube and casual games, both are smooth. If you play PUBG Mobile or Free Fire for hours, the A55 holds frame rates better. For dedicated gaming options, see our gaming phones guide (Best Gaming Phones in Pakistan).
Storage is 128GB or 256GB on both. Both models support microSD expansion through a hybrid slot, so using a memory card means giving up the second physical SIM. Heat is well controlled on both during normal use.
Cameras
Both have a 50MP main camera with OIS and a 5MP macro camera, so daytime main-camera photos look very similar. The A55 has a 12MP ultra-wide against 8MP on the A35, so wide shots are sharper on the A55.
The biggest camera difference is selfies: 32MP on the A55 versus 13MP on the A35. If you take lots of selfies or video calls, the A55 is clearly better.
Battery and charging
Both have a 5000 mAh battery with 25W wired charging and no wireless charging. Battery life is excellent on both and easily lasts a full day, often more. No charger comes in the box with either phone.

Non PTA and SIM notes in Pakistan
Our Galaxy A phones are Non Custom box pack international variants. A Non PTA phone is not registered with PTA's DIRBS, so a local SIM works only for a limited time unless you register it and pay the PTA tax. Wi-Fi and every other feature work normally.
Many units of both phones are dual SIM (hybrid slot shared with microSD) and some variants support eSIM. Ask which variant is in stock. Every order comes with a 7-day checking warranty.
