Read full overview
The Nova Y90 is the step-up model in Huawei's affordable Y range. Compared with the Nova Y61 and Y70, its screen is a clear upgrade: the 6.7-inch IPS LCD has a sharp FHD+ resolution and a smooth 90Hz refresh rate, with a small centred punch-hole and thin bezels for an edge-to-edge look.
The Snapdragon 680 is a 6 nm chip that balances speed and efficiency. It handles daily apps, multitasking and streaming comfortably, and casual games like Ludo and Candy Crush run smoothly; heavier titles like PUBG need lower settings.
Battery life is strong. The 5000mAh cell lasts through a full day of mixed use, and 40W HUAWEI SuperCharge — about 50% in roughly half an hour — is quicker than most phones in this segment. The camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor for good daylight photos, plus 2MP macro and depth sensors, and an 8MP selfie camera for calls and social media.
Like all recent Huawei phones, the Nova Y90 ships without Google Play services. Apps come from Huawei AppGallery and Petal Search, and Google-dependent apps may not work. We sell the Non Custom international variant in box pack condition, with the charger included. As a Non PTA phone, a local SIM works only for a limited time unless you register it on DIRBS and pay the PTA tax; Wi-Fi works normally.
