The Hot 10 Play is the 'Play' version of the Hot 10, which in Infinix language means a bigger battery and a lower price. It packs 6000mAh, enough for two days of light use, making it a good pick for parents, older family members or as a backup phone. It sits at the entry level of the Infinix Hot series (Infinix Hot phones).
The 6.82 inch HD+ IPS screen with a waterdrop notch is roomy for videos and video calls. Most units use the MediaTek Helio G35, an entry-level octa-core chip that handles calls, WhatsApp, YouTube, Facebook and Ludo-type games without trouble. Heavier games like PUBG run only at the lowest settings. RAM options were 2GB to 4GB with 32GB or 64GB storage, plus a microSD slot.
The rear camera is a 13MP main sensor with an AI helper lens, and the front has an 8MP camera. Photos are decent outdoors in daylight; indoors and at night, quality drops, as expected at this price.
The main limitation is charging. The 10W charger takes several hours to fill the 6000mAh cell, so overnight charging works best.
Our stock is the Non PTA international variant, box packed. All features work on Wi-Fi; a local SIM only works for a limited period unless you register the phone with PTA and pay the tax. Read how to check PTA status (How to Check PTA Status of Any Mobile Phone) to understand your options. For a phone with more speed but the same battery idea, look at the Infinix Hot 11 Play (Infinix Hot 11 Play) or browse big battery mobiles (Big Battery Mobiles).
