The biggest improvement in the Hot 20 Play is charging. Earlier Play phones shipped with 10W chargers, so filling a 6000mAh battery took ages. The Hot 20 Play moves to 18W over USB-C, cutting charging time noticeably while keeping the long battery life that made the Play line popular. It is a sensible choice in the Infinix Hot series (Infinix Hot phones) for people who travel or deal with frequent load-shedding.
The 6.82 inch HD+ display runs at 90Hz for smoother scrolling. Inside is the MediaTek Helio G37, an octa-core chip that is a small step up from the Helio G35. It handles social apps, YouTube and casual games well; demanding games run only at low settings. It comes with 4GB RAM plus memory extension and 64GB or 128GB storage, depending on the market, with a microSD slot.
The rear camera is a 13MP main sensor with an AI lens and a quad-LED flash, which helps when you need light for evening shots. The 8MP front camera is fine for video calls.
With 6000mAh, most users get well over a day of use, and light users can reach two days.
Our unit is the Non PTA international variant in box pack condition. Everything works normally on Wi-Fi; a local SIM works only for a limited time unless the phone is registered with PTA and the tax is paid. Infinix usually includes the charger, a cable and a soft case. Compare the newer Infinix Hot 30 Play (Infinix Hot 30 Play) or see our big battery mobiles (Big Battery Mobiles) list.
