The Nord CE 2 Lite is the most affordable way into OnePlus's clean software, and it sits at the entry level of the OnePlus Nord (OnePlus Nord phones) series. It focuses on a smooth screen, reliable 5G and long battery life rather than premium materials.
The 6.59-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD refreshes at 120Hz, which makes scrolling and gaming very smooth. It is an LCD rather than AMOLED, so the fingerprint sensor moves to the power button, which is fast and reliable.
The Snapdragon 695 is a 6 nm 5G chip with two Cortex-A78 cores. It runs social apps, streaming and multitasking smoothly, and handles PUBG well at medium settings. It is also power-efficient.
That efficiency, plus a 5000mAh battery, means comfortable full-day use and often more. 33W SUPERVOOC charging refills it in about an hour.
The 64MP main camera takes good daylight photos, while the 2MP depth and 2MP macro sensors are basic helpers; there is no ultra-wide. Video is limited to 1080p, and the 16MP front camera is fine for selfies. A 3.5 mm headphone jack and a microSD slot are welcome extras.
Our stock is the Non PTA international variant in box pack form. Wi-Fi and every feature work; a local SIM works only for a limited time unless you register with PTA and pay the tax. Compare the Nord CE 2 (OnePlus Nord CE 2) or browse mobiles for students (Mobiles for Students).
