Redmi Note 11 5G Overview

It uses MediaTek's 6 nm Dimensity 810, a 6.6-inch 90Hz Full HD+ LCD, a 50MP main camera and a 5000mAh battery with 33W charging. The Redmi Note 11 5G is a simple, practical phone. Instead of a fancy screen or lots of cameras, Xiaomi spent the money on an efficient 5G chip. The Dimensity 810 is built on a 6 nm process, so it stays cool and is easy on the battery, and it is quicker than the Helio chips found in many 4G phones at this level.
The 6.6-inch screen is an IPS LCD rather than AMOLED, but it is Full HD+ and runs at 90Hz, so scrolling feels smooth. Colours are less punchy than on the AMOLED Note models. The camera setup is just two lenses: a 50MP main sensor that does a good job in daylight and an 8MP ultra-wide. The 16MP selfie camera sits in a punch-hole.
Battery life is a strong point. The 5000mAh cell and efficient chip easily last a day and a half of light use, and 33W charging refills it in about an hour. You also get a headphone jack, a side fingerprint reader and an IR blaster for controlling TVs and ACs.
This model first launched in China, so the phone we sell is an imported Non PTA box pack unit. Without PTA registration through DIRBS, a local SIM works only for a limited time; registering and paying the PTA tax fixes that, and Wi-Fi works normally either way.
