Read full overview
The Black Shark 4 Pro was aimed at gamers who wanted the most power available in 2021. The Snapdragon 888 is a 5 nm flagship chip with a Cortex-X1 core and Adreno 660 graphics, giving higher frame rates than the Snapdragon 870 in the regular Black Shark 4, especially in demanding titles. To deal with the extra heat, Black Shark used an upgraded liquid cooling system that wraps around the chip.
The gaming features that define the series are all here. Magnetic pop-up triggers slide out of the frame to give physical shoulder buttons, and the 6.67-inch Super AMOLED runs at 144Hz with 720Hz touch sampling for instant response. Stereo speakers deliver loud game audio, and Shark Space mode blocks notifications and boosts performance while you play.
The 120W charger in the box fills the 4500mAh battery in about 15 minutes, which makes up for the battery being smaller than some rivals. The camera gets a 64MP main sensor that captures more detail than the base model's 48MP, plus an 8MP ultra-wide and 5MP macro. Video can reach 8K.
Black Shark no longer makes new phones, so software updates have ended for this model. We sell the Non Custom international variant in box pack condition. As a Non PTA phone, a local SIM works only for a limited time unless you register it on DIRBS and pay the PTA tax; Wi-Fi works normally.
