Realme C25Y Overview
The Realme C25Y was the first C-series phone with a 50MP main camera, paired with the Unisoc T610 chip, a 5000mAh battery and 18W USB-C charging. It also has a rear fingerprint sensor, a headphone jack and a dedicated microSD slot. The C25Y sits between the C21Y and C25s and is mainly about the camera upgrade. Its 50MP main sensor was a first for Realme's C line, and in good light it captures noticeably more detail than the 48MP and 13MP cameras on older C phones. Some lists show 48MP for this model, but the correct figure is 50MP.
The Unisoc T610 processor with 4GB RAM handles daily tasks such as WhatsApp, YouTube, Facebook and online classes smoothly enough. It is not meant for heavy gaming, though casual games are fine. Storage options are 64GB or 128GB, with a dedicated microSD slot.
The 6.5-inch HD+ display is suitable for videos and browsing. The back carries a 50MP main camera, a 2MP macro and a 2MP black-and-white portrait lens, while the 8MP front camera covers selfies and calls. The phone launched with Android 11 and realme UI R Edition.
Battery is 5000mAh, smaller than the C25's 6000mAh, but the body is lighter as a result. Charging is 18W through USB-C, quicker than the 10W of the C21Y. A rear fingerprint scanner and headphone jack are included.
This Non PTA phone is not registered with PTA's DIRBS, so a local SIM works only for a limited time unless you register it and pay the PTA tax. Wi-Fi and all other features work normally. See the Realme C series (Realme C Series phones), camera phones (Camera Phones), and the guide to Non Custom mobiles in Pakistan (Non Custom Mobiles in Pakistan: What They Are and How to Buy).
