Read full overview
The Note 50 was Realme's first phone in its low-cost Note line, made for buyers who need a reliable first phone, a backup phone or a simple handset for parents and kids. It does the basics well and keeps the price low. You can see Realme's other models on the Realme mobiles (Realme prices) page.
The 6.74-inch HD+ screen is large and runs at 90Hz, so scrolling feels smoother than older 60Hz budget phones. Brightness is fine indoors but not very strong in direct sunlight. The Unisoc T612 chip handles calls, WhatsApp, Facebook, YouTube and light games, but it is not meant for heavy gaming like PUBG on high settings.
The 13MP rear camera takes decent photos in daylight, and the 5MP front camera is enough for video calls. Low-light photos are average, as expected in this class.
Battery life is the strong point. The 5000mAh cell lasts a full day and more with normal use, though the 10W charger is slow, so overnight charging works best. You also get IP54 splash resistance, a headphone jack and a memory card slot.
About the PTA Patch Approved unit: our Realme Note 50 is a Non Custom box pack international variant. This phone is PTA Patch Approved, so a local SIM works. Wi-Fi, cameras and every other feature work normally, and the box contents are those of the international version.
