The Phantom X2 is Tecno's step into the flagship class. Its Dimensity 9000 is a 4 nm chip with a Cortex-X2 prime core and a Mali-G710 MC10 GPU, the same level of hardware that powered top phones from bigger brands in 2022. Heavy games, 4K video editing and multitasking all run smoothly, and the phone stays responsive for years of use.
The design stands out with a curved 6.8-inch AMOLED display at 120Hz and a distinctive moon-crater-style camera bump on the back. Gorilla Glass 5 protects the front, and the curved edges make the large body comfortable to hold.
The 64MP main camera has OIS and produces detailed, balanced photos day and night, backed by a 13MP ultra-wide and a 2MP depth sensor. The 32MP front camera has autofocus, which keeps selfies sharp at different distances, a feature many phones skip. Video recording goes up to 4K.
The 5160mAh battery is slightly larger than the usual 5000mAh, and 45W charging refills it in about an hour. NFC, 5G and dual speakers round out a premium package. The Phantom X2 Pro, a separate model, adds a retractable portrait lens.
This is a Non PTA, imported box pack. A local SIM works only for the permitted period unless you register the phone with PTA and pay the tax; Wi-Fi and every other feature work normally. Compare the Tecno Phantom series (Tecno Phantom phones), browse flagship mobiles (Flagship Mobiles), or read our guide to PTA tax (PTA Tax on Mobile Phones: How It Is Calculated and Paid).
