Redmi 12 5G Overview

The current price is shown above.

The Redmi 12 5G looks almost identical to the 4G Redmi 12, with the same glass back and IP53 splash protection, but swaps the chip. The Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 is built on a 4 nm process, which is both faster and more efficient than the Helio G88 in the 4G model. It also adds 5G support, so the phone is ready for faster networks as they arrive in Pakistan.
The 6.79-inch IPS display has full HD+ resolution and up to 90Hz refresh, giving a large, sharp and smooth screen for streaming and social apps. Performance is snappy in daily use, and games like PUBG Mobile run at smooth settings.
One trade-off: the camera setup is simpler than the 4G Redmi 12. It uses a 50MP main sensor with a 2MP depth lens, but drops the 8MP ultra-wide. Daylight photos are good, and the 8MP front camera handles selfies and video calls.
The 5000mAh battery lasts well over a day thanks to the efficient chip, and 18W USB-C charging refills it in about two hours. A side fingerprint scanner, headphone jack and microSD slot are included.
Our Redmi 12 5G is a Non PTA, imported box pack. A local SIM works only for a limited period unless the phone is registered with PTA and the tax is paid; Wi-Fi and every other feature work normally. 5G depends on your network's coverage.
