iPhone 13 Pro Max vs iPhone 14 Pro Max
Short answer: the iPhone 14 Pro Max adds the faster A16 Bionic, Dynamic Island, an Always-On display that reaches 2000 nits outdoors, a 48MP main camera and an autofocus selfie camera. The iPhone 13 Pro Max keeps the same size, weight, 120Hz ProMotion and almost the same battery, so it is the better value if you mainly want a big Pro iPhone with long battery life.

Design and build
Both use a stainless steel frame, matte glass back, Ceramic Shield front and IP68 rating, and both weigh 240 g. The 13 Pro Max measures 160.8 x 78.1 x 7.65 mm; the 14 Pro Max is 160.7 x 77.6 x 7.85 mm, with a noticeably larger camera bump.
From the front, the difference is obvious: the 13 Pro Max has a notch, while the 14 Pro Max has the pill-shaped Dynamic Island. Colours differ too, with Sierra Blue and Alpine Green on the 13 Pro Max and Deep Purple and Space Black on the 14 Pro Max.
Display
Both have a 6.7 inch Super Retina XDR OLED with ProMotion. The 13 Pro Max (1284 x 2778) runs at 10-120Hz with 1200 nits HDR peak. The 14 Pro Max (1290 x 2796) uses an LTPO panel at 1-120Hz, supports Always-On display and reaches 2000 nits outdoors.
The extra brightness is a real gain when using maps or the camera in Pakistani summer sun. Dynamic Island also shows calls, timers and music in a handy way.
Performance and chipset
The 13 Pro Max uses the A15 Bionic (5 nm) and the 14 Pro Max uses the A16 Bionic (4 nm). Both have a 6-core CPU and 5-core GPU.
The A16 is faster and more efficient, but in daily use both feel quick. Gamers will see a small gain in frame rates on the 14 Pro Max.
Cameras
The 13 Pro Max has a 12MP main, 12MP ultra-wide with macro and 12MP 3x telephoto. The 14 Pro Max upgrades the main camera to 48MP, which gives more detail in daylight and a cleaner 2x crop, and keeps the 12MP ultra-wide and 3x telephoto. Both have LiDAR.
The 14 Pro Max front camera adds autofocus for sharper selfies and video calls. It also brings Action mode and Cinematic mode in 4K, while the 13 Pro Max does Cinematic mode at 1080p. Both shoot ProRes.
Battery and charging
Battery size is almost the same: 4352 mAh on the 13 Pro Max and 4323 mAh on the 14 Pro Max. Real backup is similar, as the efficient A16 balances the Always-On display. Both charge to about 50% in 30 minutes with a 20W adapter and support 15W MagSafe over Lightning.
On used units, battery health makes more difference than the model; see our iPhone battery health guide (iPhone Battery Health: How to Check It and What Is Normal).

Non PTA and SIM notes in Pakistan
Our iPhone 13 Pro Max and 14 Pro Max units are used Non PTA phones with original IMEIs, checked before dispatch, with 95–99% battery health shown on the page. A Non PTA iPhone is not registered with PTA's DIRBS, so a local SIM works only for a limited time unless you register it and pay the PTA tax. Wi-Fi and every other feature work normally. Read our PTA tax guide (PTA Tax on Mobile Phones: How It Is Calculated and Paid).
SIM setup differs: the 13 Pro Max has a nano-SIM plus eSIM, while US 14 Pro Max units are eSIM only and most other variants have nano-SIM plus eSIM. Every order comes with a 7-day checking warranty.
