iPhone 18 Pro vs iPhone 18 Pro Max
iPhone 18 Pro vs iPhone 18 Pro Max, short answer: the iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max have the same A20 Pro chip, the same three 48MP cameras and the same features. The difference is size, battery and weight. Buy the 18 Pro if you want a phone that fits one hand and a pocket. Design and size
Both use an aluminium unibody with a Ceramic Shield back and IP68 water resistance, and both come in Black, Silver, Glacier and Burgundy. The 18 Pro has a 6.3 inch screen and weighs about 211 g. The 18 Pro Max has a 6.9 inch screen and weighs about 249 g, which you notice after a long day in the hand.
If you mostly use your phone with one hand, or carry it in a shirt pocket, the 18 Pro is easier to live with.
Display
Both screens are LTPO OLED panels with ProMotion from 1Hz to 120Hz, Always-On display, a smaller Dynamic Island than the iPhone 17 Pro, and up to 3000 nits outdoors. Quality is identical; only the size differs. The Pro Max is better for video, games and reading.
Performance
Both run the 2nm A20 Pro chip with Apple's C2 modem and N1 wireless chip. Speed in apps and games is the same. The bigger Pro Max body holds heat a little better in very long gaming sessions, but both are among the fastest phones you can buy in 2026.
Cameras
The camera systems are the same: a 48MP Fusion main camera with variable aperture, a 48MP ultra-wide and a 48MP telephoto with 4x optical zoom and an 8x optical-quality crop. The 18MP Center Stage front camera is also shared. Choose by size, not by camera.
Battery and charging
This is the real difference. The 18 Pro Max has a battery of about 5,391 mAh against about 4,056 mAh in the 18 Pro, so it lasts clearly longer, which matters during load shedding and travel. Both charge to 50% in about 15 minutes with a 60W USB-C adapter and support 25W MagSafe. Neither comes with a charger in the box.

Non PTA and PTA in Pakistan
All our iPhones are 100% genuine Non PTA (factory unlocked) box pack units. A PTA approved iPhone is registered with PTA's DIRBS and its PTA tax is already paid, so a local SIM works forever, and that is why its price is higher. On a Non PTA iPhone a local SIM works for a limited time; after that you register the phone and pay the PTA tax, or keep using it on Wi-Fi. iCloud, Apple ID and every app work permanently. The tax depends on the phone's value and differs for CNIC and passport, so check our PTA tax guide (PTA Tax on Mobile Phones: How It Is Calculated and Paid) first. Our iPhone JV vs PTA vs Non PTA guide (iPhone JV vs PTA vs Non PTA: What Each Term Really Means) explains why we never sell JV units.
