Where to Buy a Non PTA Mobile in Pakistan
You can buy a Non PTA mobile in Pakistan from city mobile markets, online stores, OLX and Facebook sellers, or from people bringing phones from abroad. The safest choice is a seller who gives the original IMEI, a clear box pack or used condition, a written checking warranty and a way to reach them after the sale. Price matters, but a cheap phone with a fake or patched IMEI costs more in the end.

Buying from a mobile market

Watch for: - 'Non PTA' phones that are really JV, patched or CPID, which can be blocked later - Box and phone IMEIs that do not match - Used phones sold as new, with a fresh screen protector and a re-sealed box - No written warranty, only a verbal promise
Ask for a shop receipt with the IMEI, model and condition written on it.
Buying online
Online is convenient if you live in a smaller city or cannot visit a market. iPhone kahan se order karen? Best place to buy an iPhone in Pakistan
iPhone kahan se kharidna chahiye depends on what you want: - PTA approved iPhone: sold by authorised and large retailers with the tax already paid. It costs the most but works with any SIM straight away - Non PTA iPhone: lower price, original and factory unlocked, works with a SIM for 60 days, then needs PTA tax or Wi-Fi only use - Used Non PTA iPhone: the best value. How to find a genuine Non PTA mobile
A real Non PTA phone is an original international unit that simply has not been registered. To find one: - Ask whether it is factory unlocked, not carrier locked - Check the IMEI with *#06#, Settings and the box - Send the IMEI to 8484. A genuine Non PTA phone shows as not registered, with the correct brand and model - Avoid phones sold as 'patch approved' with no proof, 'CPID' or 'works with chip'
