The Nova 12s is for content creators and selfie lovers who want a light, stylish phone with a premium screen. It sits in the middle of the Huawei Nova series (Huawei Nova phones), below the Nova 12 Pro (Huawei Nova 12 Pro).
The 6.7-inch OLED panel has a 120Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution with HDR, so colours are rich and blacks are deep. At only 6.9 mm thick and 168 g, it is one of the slimmest phones in its class. The Snapdragon 778G is a proven upper mid-range chip; with 8GB RAM it handles multitasking, editing and games like PUBG Mobile on smooth high settings without trouble. This version is 4G.
The 60MP front camera is the highlight. Its ultra-wide view fits group selfies, and it records 4K video for vlogs and reels. On the back, a 50MP main camera with laser autofocus and an 8MP ultra-wide cover daily shots, with 4K recording. The 4500mAh battery is smaller than some rivals but lasts a day for most users, and 66W charging fills it in about 30 minutes.
The Nova 12s runs EMUI 14 without Google Play Services, so apps come from Huawei AppGallery and some Google apps need alternatives. Our unit is the PTA Patch Approved international variant in its original box. This phone is PTA Patch Approved, so a local SIM works.
