The Nova 13 is for buyers who care about selfies, design and very fast charging. It is the 2024 core model of the Huawei Nova series (Huawei Nova phones) and follows the Nova 12 (Huawei Nova 12).
The 6.7-inch OLED display has Full HD+ resolution, HDR support and a 120Hz refresh rate, so scrolling is smooth and video looks rich. At 7 mm thick and 195 g, it feels light for a phone with a 5000mAh battery. Inside is Huawei's own Kirin 8000 chip with 12GB RAM, which handles daily apps, multitasking and popular games without trouble, though it is not a gaming flagship.
The 60MP ultra-wide front camera is the main attraction: group selfies fit easily and it records 4K video for vlogs. On the back you get a 50MP main camera with laser autofocus and a colour spectrum sensor, plus an 8MP ultra-wide. The 5000mAh battery easily lasts a day, and 100W wired charging takes it from 3% to 50% in roughly 10 minutes.
Huawei phones do not include Google Play Services; apps come from Huawei AppGallery, so check that your banking and work apps are available. Software and network support can differ between Chinese and international units, so ask us about the exact version in stock. Our unit is PTA Patch Approved and box packed. This phone is PTA Patch Approved, so a local SIM works. Read our PTA guide (How to Check PTA Status of Any Mobile Phone) or see more camera phones (Camera Phones).
