The Zero 40 5G is the most complete phone in the Infinix Zero line so far. It keeps the series' focus on video, recording 4K at 60fps from both the 108MP main camera and the 50MP selfie camera, and adds a 50MP ultra-wide that also works for close-up macro shots. A dedicated vlog mode can pair with GoPro action cameras, which is a nice extra for travellers and creators.
The headline hardware change is charging. Besides 45W wired charging, the phone supports 20W magnetic wireless charging, so magnetic chargers and accessories snap onto the back. Battery capacity is 5000mAh, which comfortably lasts a full day for most users. Some old listings show a 4600mAh battery and 100W charging, but that is not the international 5G model.
Performance is genuinely strong. The 4 nm Dimensity 8200 Ultimate handles heavy games, video editing and multitasking with ease, and the 144Hz curved AMOLED makes everything feel quick. With 12GB RAM there is plenty of headroom. If gaming is your main concern, also look at the GT series (Infinix GT phones), which shares the same chip.
Our stock is PTA Patch Approved and imported. This phone is PTA Patch Approved, so a local SIM works.
