The itel S23+ is for buyers who want flagship-style looks, a sharp AMOLED screen and strong selfies at a budget price. It is the top model of itel's S Series (itel prices) from 2023 and a clear upgrade over the itel S23 (itel S23).
The 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display has Full HD+ resolution, deep blacks and vivid colours, which make videos and photos look far better than on HD+ LCD phones. The curved edges and 178 g weight give it a slim, premium feel. An optical fingerprint sensor sits under the display. Inside is the Unisoc T616 (12 nm) octa-core chip with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. There is no microSD slot, but 256GB is plenty for most users. Android 13 with itel OS 13 runs everyday apps smoothly, and casual games and PUBG Mobile on low settings are playable.
The 32MP front camera is the highlight for selfie lovers and video calls. On the back, a 50MP f/1.6 main camera with autofocus takes detailed daylight photos and records 1080p video. The 5000mAh battery lasts a full day, and 18W charging is standard for this class.
Our unit is the PTA Patch Approved international variant, box packed. This phone is PTA Patch Approved, so a local SIM works.
