The Y78 5G feels like a V-series phone at a Y-series level. Its curved AMOLED display and slim profile give it a premium look, and it is a good fit for buyers who want a stylish 5G phone with a good main camera.
Note that the global Y78 differs from the China model. The global version, which we stock, has a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate and an in-display fingerprint reader; the China model used a flat 6.64-inch LCD. Older listings mixing those specs are inaccurate.
The Snapdragon 695 is a dependable 5G chip that keeps everyday use smooth and runs popular games at medium settings. Most units come with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, so space is rarely a problem.
The 64MP main camera has optical image stabilisation (OIS), which is rare in this class and helps with sharper night shots and steadier video. A 2MP macro and 2MP depth sensor support it, and the 16MP selfie camera handles social media well.
The 5000mAh battery lasts a full day, and 44W FlashCharge brings it back fast. The IP54 rating adds splash protection. This phone is PTA Patch Approved, so a local SIM works. Wi-Fi and other features work normally. See the Vivo Y series (Vivo Y Series phones), AMOLED mobiles (AMOLED Mobiles), and 120Hz mobiles (120Hz Mobiles).
