The Redmi Note 12 Pro is the camera-first model of the 2023 Redmi Note family. Its 50MP main sensor is the Sony IMX766, the same size of sensor used in several more expensive phones, and it has OIS. That means steadier video and sharper photos in low light compared with the cheaper Note models.
The 6.67-inch OLED screen runs at 120Hz and supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, so Netflix and YouTube HDR content looks great. The Dimensity 1080 is a 6 nm 5G chip that handles multitasking and mid-level gaming comfortably, and it can record 4K video, which the Helio-based Note models cannot.
The 5000mAh battery gives a full day, and the included 67W charger fills it in under an hour. You keep a headphone jack, IR blaster, stereo speakers and IP53 splash resistance. The ultra-wide is only 8MP and the macro is basic, so the main camera does most of the work.
If you want the 200MP camera and 120W charging, see the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ (Redmi Note 12 Pro+). Both are part of the Redmi Note series (Redmi Note phones). The unit we deliver is the Non PTA box pack international variant. It is not registered with PTA's DIRBS, so a local SIM works only for a limited time unless you register the phone and pay the PTA tax; Wi-Fi and all features work normally. More options are on our camera phones (Camera Phones) page.
