Who should buy a Smart phone?
Buy a Smart phone if your needs are calls, WhatsApp, Facebook and YouTube. Do not expect smooth heavy gaming or great night photos. If you can stretch your budget a little, the Hot series (Infinix Hot phones) gives you a faster chip and better cameras. For more choices see mobiles under 15000 (Under 15k) and mobiles under 20000 (Under 20k).
Non PTA notes
Smart phones are dual SIM. As Non PTA phones, a local SIM works for a limited time only unless registered with PTA. Wi-Fi works normally, so many buyers use them as Wi-Fi-only devices for kids.
Battery, storage and Android Go
All Smart models have 5000mAh batteries, which last a full day or more with light use. Storage is limited on the cheapest versions, so choose 64GB or more if you keep many photos, and use a memory card where supported. Phones running Android Go use Go versions of Google apps that need less RAM, while the Smart 8 and Smart 8 Plus run full Android. For a phone that stays smooth longer, pick a model with 4GB RAM or more.
