Huawei series explained
- Nova (Huawei Nova phones): stylish mid-range and budget phones with good selfie cameras, like the Nova 11 Ultra (Huawei Nova 11 Ultra) and Nova Y90 (Huawei Nova Y90).
- Mate (Huawei Mate phones): flagships for power users, such as the Mate 60 Pro (Huawei Mate 60 Pro).
- Pura & P series (Huawei Pura & P Series phones): camera flagships, including the Pura 70 Ultra (Huawei Pura 70 Ultra) and P50 Pro (Huawei P50 Pro).
Google services on Huawei: the honest picture
Because of US trade restrictions, Huawei phones launched since around 2020 come without Google Play services. That means no built-in Play Store, Gmail, Google Maps, Google Drive or YouTube app. Instead you get AppGallery, Petal Search and Petal Maps. Many popular apps, including WhatsApp, TikTok, Snapchat and several Pakistani banking apps, are available through AppGallery, and you can use Google services like YouTube and Gmail in the browser. However, apps that depend on Google services, such as some games and Google's own apps, may not work fully. If you rely heavily on Google apps, consider an Honor phone (Honor prices), which has Google Play.
Who should buy a Huawei?
A Huawei suits buyers who love its cameras, build quality and design, and are comfortable with AppGallery. The Mate and Pura flagships offer some of the most advanced cameras available, while Nova phones give stylish designs and great selfies. Compare Huawei with other camera phones (Camera Phones) and flagship mobiles (Flagship Mobiles) before deciding.
Non PTA Huawei phones
Some Huawei models, such as the Mate 60 Pro and Nova 12 family, were launched mainly in China and run HarmonyOS; others run EMUI. The model page states the variant we stock. As Non PTA imports, Huawei phones are not registered on DIRBS, so a local SIM works for a limited time unless you register the phone and pay the PTA tax. Ordering a Huawei
All Huawei phones are Non Custom box pack. Pay a 50% advance, and the remaining 50% to the courier on delivery. There is no cash on delivery and no installment plan. Delivery takes 48–72 hours all over Pakistan, with a 7-day checking warranty.
