Honor X9b Overview
The Honor X9b is famous for its ultra-bounce anti-drop display, which Honor showed surviving falls that crack most phones. It adds a 1.5K curved 120Hz AMOLED, Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 5G and a big 5800mAh battery. It also records 4K video and has IP53 splash protection. Most people break a screen at least once. Honor's answer on the X9b is an ultra-bounce anti-drop design: a cushioned frame and reinforced curved glass built to survive drops onto hard floors. Combined with IP53 splash protection, it is the toughest-feeling phone in the Honor X Series (Honor X Series phones) and ideal for people who are hard on their phones.
The 6.78-inch curved AMOLED is sharper than earlier X phones at 1.5K resolution, refreshes at 120Hz and uses high-frequency PWM dimming for comfortable night use. The Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 is a 4 nm 5G chip with Cortex-A78 cores; it is a clear jump over the Snapdragon 695 and handles PUBG and Call of Duty smoothly at medium to high settings.
Battery life is another highlight. The 5800mAh silicon-carbon battery easily lasts more than a day, often closer to two, while 35W charging refills it in roughly 75 minutes.
The 108MP main camera takes detailed daylight photos and records 4K video. A 5MP ultra-wide and 2MP macro join it, and the front camera is 16MP. Low-light shots are decent, though not flagship quality.
You get the PTA Patch Approved international variant in box pack. This phone is PTA Patch Approved, so a local SIM works. Compare with the newer Honor X9c 5G (Honor X9c 5G) or see big battery mobiles (Big Battery Mobiles).
