The Smart 7 improves on the Smart 6 in the two areas basic users care about: battery and camera. Most versions carry a 6000mAh battery, up from 5000mAh, and the main camera rises from 8MP to 13MP. It is a well-liked phone in the Infinix Smart series (Infinix Smart phones), especially for older family members and children.
One note: Infinix sold a version with a 5000mAh battery in some markets, so the capacity can differ by region; check the box if the exact figure matters to you.
The 6.6 inch HD+ IPS display gives plenty of room for WhatsApp chats, YouTube and video calls. The Unisoc SC9863A octa-core chip is entry-level: it handles calls, messaging, social apps and simple games, while Android 12 Go edition keeps everything light on 3GB or 4GB of RAM. Storage is 64GB, with a 128GB option in some markets and a microSD slot.
The 13MP main camera with an AI lens takes decent daylight photos, and the 5MP front camera covers video calls. A rear fingerprint sensor and face unlock make it easy to unlock.
The Smart 7 also moves to a USB-C port, which is easier to plug in and matches modern chargers. Charging is 10W, so full charges take a few hours.
We sell the PTA Patch Approved international variant in box pack condition. This phone is PTA Patch Approved, so a local SIM works. More long-lasting choices are on big battery mobiles (Big Battery Mobiles), and the Infinix Smart 8 Plus (Infinix Smart 8 Plus) is a faster alternative.
