The itel A70 is for students and budget buyers who want lots of storage for photos, videos and apps without spending much. It is one of the most popular models in itel's A Series (itel prices), and it stands out by offering a 256GB option, which is rare at this level.
The 6.6-inch IPS LCD has HD+ resolution and up to 500 nits brightness. Around the selfie camera, itel's Dynamic Bar shows charging status, notifications and calls in a pill-shaped area, similar to the iPhone's Dynamic Island. The Unisoc T603 octa-core chip with 4GB RAM handles WhatsApp, YouTube, TikTok and online classes. Android 13 Go edition keeps the software light. It is not built for heavy games, but casual titles are fine.
The 13MP rear camera with dual LED flash takes clear daylight photos, and the 8MP front camera is good for selfies and video calls. The 5000mAh battery lasts a full day of normal use. You also get a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, USB-C, a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a dedicated microSD slot, so you can add a memory card without giving up the second SIM.
Our unit is the PTA Patch Approved international variant, box packed. This phone is PTA Patch Approved, so a local SIM works.
