Read full overview
The Spark 9T is a budget phone that spends its money on the things you see: the screen and the main camera. The 6.6-inch IPS display has full HD+ resolution, which is uncommon in this class and makes text and videos look noticeably crisper than HD+ phones. The 50MP main camera, backed by a depth lens, takes detailed shots in good light.
The trade-off is the processor. The Helio G35 is an entry-level 12 nm chip, the same family used in many low-cost phones, so this is a phone for social media, YouTube, calls and online classes rather than heavy gaming. With 4GB RAM, light multitasking works fine.
The front camera is 8MP, good enough for video calls but not as sharp as the 32MP sensor on the Spark 9 Pro. A 5000mAh battery provides a full day of use, and the bundled 18W charger is faster than the 10W chargers on older Spark models. A headphone jack and microSD slot are included.
This is a PTA Patch Approved, imported box pack. This phone is PTA Patch Approved, so a local SIM works. Read our PTA Patch Approved explainer (How to Check PTA Status of Any Mobile Phone), and compare the Spark 9 and 9 Pro in the Tecno Spark series (Tecno Spark phones) or other budget phones under 25,000 (Under 25k).
