If the bigger Note 11 Pro feels too large, the Redmi Note 11S is the smaller choice with the same 108MP main camera and the same Helio G96 processor. At 179 grams and just over 8 mm thick it fits a pocket and one hand better than most phones of its class.
The 6.43-inch AMOLED display has deep blacks and a 90Hz refresh rate. It is sharp at Full HD+ and bright enough for daylight. The Helio G96 copes well with daily apps, video streaming and casual gaming. Heavy 3D titles run, but you will need to keep graphics on medium.
Camera-wise, you get the 108MP main sensor plus an 8MP ultra-wide, a 2MP macro and a 2MP depth camera. Daylight shots are crisp and colourful; night photos are average. The 16MP selfie camera is fine for video calls. The 5000mAh battery gives a full day of mixed use, and 33W charging takes a little over an hour. Stereo speakers and a headphone jack are bonuses.
It belongs to the Redmi Note series (Redmi Note phones). The phone we sell is the Non PTA international variant, sealed box pack. A Non PTA phone is not registered with PTA's DIRBS, so a local SIM works for a limited period only unless you register it and pay the PTA tax. Wi-Fi and everything else work normally.
