The C65 5G is one of the cheapest ways to get a 5G-ready phone from Realme. It made history as the commercial debut of the MediaTek Dimensity 6300, a 6 nm chip with two Cortex-A76 cores that handles everyday apps smoothly and supports 5G networks.
The 6.67-inch HD+ display runs at up to 120Hz, smoother than the 90Hz screens on the C61 and C63, with 240Hz touch sampling that helps in casual games. Older listings mention a 90Hz display; the correct figure is 120Hz.
RAM options are 4GB or 6GB with 64GB or 128GB storage, and a microSD slot supports large cards. Daily use, social media and light gaming run fine. The 50MP main camera takes clear daylight photos, and the 8MP front camera handles video calls. The phone has an IP54 rating and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
One thing to know: charging is 15W, not 45W as some lists claim. The 5000mAh battery lasts a full day thanks to the efficient chip, but a full charge takes over two hours.
Our unit is Non PTA, so it is not registered with DIRBS. A local SIM works only for a limited time unless you register the phone and pay the PTA tax. Wi-Fi and every other feature work normally.
