The nubia A36 launched in Pakistan in September 2025. Its biggest advantage over older ZTE budget phones is the newer Unisoc T7200 chip and Android 15 software. It suits first-time users, students on a tight budget and older family members. See the full range on our ZTE mobiles (ZTE prices) page.
The 6.75-inch IPS LCD has an HD+ (720 x 1600) resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The Unisoc T7200 is a 12 nm octa-core chip with two Cortex-A75 cores and Mali-G57 graphics, noticeably quicker than the SC9863A in the Blade A35. You get 4GB of physical RAM (plus 8GB dynamic RAM) and 64GB of storage.
The rear camera is a 13MP sensor with an AI lens and LED flash, and the front camera is 5MP. They are fine for WhatsApp, documents and video calls. The 5000mAh battery lasts a full day, though 10W charging is slow. Note that this model has no fingerprint sensor; it uses face unlock instead.
A headphone jack and USB Type-C are included. This phone is PTA Patch Approved, so a local SIM works. Wi-Fi and every other feature work normally. For a side fingerprint and more storage, see the ZTE nubia A56 (ZTE nubia A56), or read what a PTA Patch Approved mobile is (How to Check PTA Status of Any Mobile Phone).
