The V40 improves on the V30 in the two areas buyers ask about most: battery and durability. The battery grows to 5500mAh, yet the phone stays slim at about 7.6 mm, and it now carries both IP68 and IP69 ratings, which means it can handle water submersion and even high-pressure water jets.
ZEISS optics, previously reserved for the Pro and X models, come to the standard V40. The rear has a 50MP main camera with OIS and a 50MP ultra-wide (old listings mentioning an 8MP third lens are wrong), and ZEISS portrait styles give a classic lens look. Aura Light helps night portraits, and the 50MP autofocus front camera covers selfies and vlogs.
The 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display has 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh and high outdoor brightness. The Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 is an efficient 4 nm chip, smooth in everyday use and capable in games at high settings.
With 80W FlashCharge, the large battery refills in under an hour, and real-world endurance can stretch beyond a day for many users.
This phone is PTA Patch Approved, so a local SIM works. Wi-Fi and every other feature work normally. Explore the Vivo V series (Vivo V Series phones), big battery mobiles (Big Battery Mobiles), and the latest mobiles (Latest Mobiles).
