The POCO X7 Pro continues the X-series tradition of giving near-flagship speed at a mid-range level. It was among the first phones with MediaTek's Dimensity 8400 Ultra, a 4 nm chip with eight performance-focused cores, and it shipped with Android 15 and HyperOS 2.
The 6.67-inch AMOLED display has 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 3200 nits peak brightness. Games like PUBG, Call of Duty Mobile and Genshin Impact run at high settings with stable frame rates, which is why the X7 Pro is a favourite with mobile gamers. See our gaming phones (Gaming Phones) page for alternatives.
The 50MP main camera has OIS and takes clean daytime and night shots, with 4K 60fps video. An 8MP ultra-wide and a 20MP front camera round it out; there is no macro gimmick. The 6000mAh battery lasts a full day of heavy use, and 90W charging refills it in well under an hour. IP68 protection is a welcome extra.
About the PTA Patch Approved unit: it is new, box packed and the international variant. This phone is PTA Patch Approved, so a local SIM works. Wi-Fi and all features work normally. Compare it with the POCO X6 Pro (POCO X6 Pro 5G) and other POCO (POCO phones) phones.
