The Blade A35 is ZTE's entry-level phone from late 2024. It is meant for people who need WhatsApp, calls, YouTube and Facebook, not heavy gaming: think parents, children or a second phone for work. More options are on our ZTE mobiles (ZTE prices) page.
The 6.75-inch IPS LCD has an HD+ (720 x 1600) resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate, which is a nice touch at this level. Inside is the Unisoc SC9863A1, an older octa-core chip that handles light apps. The phone runs Android 14 (Go edition), a lighter version of Android designed to stay smooth on basic hardware. The Pakistani listing shows 4GB RAM with 64GB storage; some markets also sell a 2GB version, so check the box details on delivery.
The camera setup is simple: an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front camera. They are fine for documents, WhatsApp photos and video calls. The 5000mAh battery is the strong point and easily lasts more than a day with light use, though 10W charging is slow.
You also get a 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C. This phone is PTA Patch Approved, so a local SIM works. Wi-Fi and other features work normally. See what a PTA Patch Approved mobile is (How to Check PTA Status of Any Mobile Phone) and more big battery mobiles (Big Battery Mobiles).
