The Redmi 10 brought several features from the Redmi Note series down to the base Redmi line. The biggest is the camera: a 50MP main sensor joined by an 8MP ultra-wide, a 2MP macro and a 2MP depth lens. The ultra-wide is genuinely useful for group photos and buildings, something many budget phones skip.
The 6.5-inch IPS display is full HD+ and can switch between refresh rates up to 90Hz to balance smoothness and battery life. Text is sharp and videos look crisp. A punch-hole cutout houses the 8MP selfie camera.
Performance comes from the MediaTek Helio G88 with a Mali-G52 GPU. It handles everyday apps, social media and casual games like Free Fire smoothly; PUBG runs at balanced settings. The 5000mAh battery lasts a full day, and 18W charging over USB-C is quicker than the 10W phones it replaced. The side fingerprint scanner in the power key is fast, and the phone is fairly light at about 181 grams.
It also keeps a headphone jack, an IR blaster for controlling home appliances, and a microSD slot.
