If you hate charging your phone, the X7a deserves a look. Honor fitted a 6000mAh battery into this member of the Honor X Series (Honor X Series phones), which is 1000mAh more than the X7. For light to moderate users that can mean two days between charges, which is handy during load-shedding and travel.
Note that Honor changed the chip on this model. Instead of the Snapdragon 680 used in the X7, the X7a uses MediaTek's Helio G37, a 12 nm entry-level chip. It handles calls, social media, browsing and YouTube well enough, but it is slower than the X7 when gaming or multitasking. Choose it for endurance, not speed.
The 6.74-inch HD+ display runs at 90Hz and is large enough for comfortable video watching. On the back sits a 50MP main camera with a 5MP ultra-wide, 2MP macro and 2MP depth sensor; daylight photos are bright, while low light is weak. The front camera is 8MP.
Charging is 22.5W, so a full charge of the big battery takes around two hours. The phone also keeps a side fingerprint reader and 3.5 mm headphone jack.
We sell the Non PTA international variant in box pack. Wi-Fi and every feature work; a local SIM works for a limited time unless the phone is registered with PTA and the tax is paid.
