The Hot 12 Play is the first 'Play' model in the Hot line to get a 90Hz screen. That makes it feel noticeably smoother than the Hot 10 Play or Hot 11 Play when scrolling TikTok or Facebook, while keeping the same big 6000mAh battery that the Play series is known for. It belongs to the budget end of the Infinix Hot series (Infinix Hot phones).
Old spec lists sometimes show the Helio G35 for this phone, but the Hot 12 Play actually uses the Unisoc T610, a 12 nm octa-core chip with two Cortex-A75 performance cores and Mali-G52 graphics. In daily use it is a step above the Helio G35: apps open faster and light games run better. Heavy games like PUBG still need low settings. It comes with 4GB RAM, 64GB or 128GB storage depending on the market, and a microSD slot.
The 6.82 inch HD+ panel has 180Hz touch sampling, which helps in casual games. The rear camera is a 13MP main sensor with a depth lens, and the front has an 8MP camera; both are fine for daylight shots and video calls.
The 6000mAh battery lasts well beyond a day for most users. Charging is 10W over USB-C, so overnight charging is the best habit.
Our unit is the PTA Patch Approved international variant in box pack condition. This phone is PTA Patch Approved, so a local SIM works. Want more battery phones? Visit big battery mobiles (Big Battery Mobiles) or compare the Infinix Hot 20 Play (Infinix Hot 20 Play).
